Gas EFM Calibrations

When we do a EFM  Calibration or verification, our trained staff follow all manufacturer’s recommended procedures. We the calibration and verification requirements in AER Directive 017 are followed.

We also verify not only the EFM itself, but check the orifice run and inspect the orifice plate and changer if possible. We have found damaged orifice seals, and nicked plates which affect accuracy. For example we found a large error caused by an orifice plate with the wrong size stamped on it which was in service for several years. This was found by routinely checking orifice plate sizes with calipers.

We Add Value!

We provide value to our customers through a few different ways.

All of our data is entered directly into a database, where it is searchable and easily stored as a pdf. Paper copies are printed off and left onsite.

This database helps in scheduling and keeping track of past and upcoming calibrations.  When a problem is found we can quickly search to see if this would affect any other sites we have been at as well.

The operator and scheduler’s job is easier knowing that there is a double check of missed meters each time, making the audits much easier.

Clients have commented how the measurement audits go so smoothly for the areas we look after compared to other areas.

You can measure our success with your next measurement audit.  See how the areas we look after compare to other areas in the company.

We bring this value to You with our services.
